  1. Just finished listening, with any luck just in time for a new installment to appear shortly.

I have the sense that, if push came to shove, Desirée would rather Aaron killed Amy than vice versa. I'm finding myself increasingly on Team Amy.

Part of this is that this series is showing a very different side of Karen. In Neon Masquerade, she often came across as a bit of a ditz, who, by vampire standards, wasn't all that bad. I'd have put her Humanity somewhere around the "Not all that bothered if she killed someone by accident while feeding, but would, on the whole, try to avoid that." And, of course, one of the driving motivations for Aaron was his attempts to save Karen from the fate that her Masquerade violations had led her fellow-vampires to decree for her. Now, of course, one can't help but feel that it would have been better if he'd just accepted that offer to Diablerize her.

    Other scattered thoughts:

-It's clear that Aspirations can be quite trivial if they're short-term. The ability to use Willpower to defeat Amy's control if her command violates an Aspiration suggests the possibility of things like Must...resist! Must...do...LAUNDRY!!!

-See, a timeline co-ordinating Amy and Aaron's adventures on the wiki would be so helpful to you...
