  1. The villains of this adventure need a safety lesson on guns. Pull the trigger AFTER you draw it, don't treat one nestled into your side as an amusing joke... don't you recognise who you're dealing with? At least one person in this group plays someone who has no compunctions pulling the trigger.

I think there's nothing more frustrating for players and GMs than everyone knowing exactly how to solve a scenario, having bonuses to rolling, and then just relentlessly fail to make the needed roll. There's always that temptation to just let them succeed, but then you remind yourself that you're making a three-dimensional map out of viscera, and it should probably be a little difficult.

  2. I'm not sure I could have run such a thing without emphasizing how awful it would be to be arms deep in a model train layout made from someone's intestines. Or, several someones, I guess.

Also, does nobody have any sort of medicine skill? That would seem to be useful for this sort of thing.

  3. I shudder to think of what kind of medical training prepared someone for this sort of arts and crafts project.

Miskatonic University really needs to stop mixing its fine arts and science curriculums.

    1. Well, after that Herbert West kerfuffle, they probably figured that more education was better than letting their students run around pell-mell trying to pull resurrection syrum out of their collective asses.
