  1. I love your table banter. I can only imagine this happening during the Solo GPC, and that makes me smile.

    1. Well, thanks, sir! Solo GPC was very similar, although there was a lot of debate about keeping things in the genre as much as possible and not to overthink my characters motives in a psychological (modern) way.

  2. I agree that these are a lot of fun to listen to.

I'm a bit concerned about Aaron referring that priest to his agent. Didn't he tell her he was a vampire...?

Also, I remember you saying a while back that you thought Your Highness was sort of the essence of a bad D&D game. The other day I caught some vampire flick - The Vampire Happening - and it made me think, "This is how I've always imagined a terrible Vampire game to be." It made me think of this game, because one of the characters was an actress and because listening to this is the closest thing I have to experience with Vampire (your game is much better than the movie, though).

    1. Aaron knows Olivia was going to be out of town for a few more days, so that's why he told Leon to wait a few weeks to call her to contact him. His intention was to tell Olivia about it so she would expect the call.

At this point, Aaron has all sorts of plans for Leon.

Thanks for your support! Now I'm wondering about The Vampire Happening - that title alone has me in stitches!

    2. Nothing says hilarity like "1971 West German horror-comedy." But as a firm believer that Dracula: AD 1972 has the best opening in cinema history, I have to check out The Vampire Happening some day.

  3. In case anyone was curious who we based Leon Cutler on, here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzTikg0z9jw

  4. And the best game imaginable about being a teenager delivers the classic adolescent experience of worrying about whether the way you are dressed makes you look stupid.

I do find Aaron charmingly naive (which I know is the point). But a disease which can, in the context of intimate contact with a sufferer, prove fatal? It's the '80s: I'm sure people will respond to that with tolerance and understanding.
