  1. Wow, I really did have trouble hearing things this episode. I completely missed the bit of logic that connects why the group decided to go down into a mine shaft and blow up a Zombie factory. Not that there really needs to be a reason, but it did kinda throw me.

Anyway, a new character has joined the party! Since I have omniscient vision into the end of this campaign can see that he's reappearing in every episode after this... except for a conspicuous and worrying last session absence... was he planned to be a full addition to the party, or just a one-shot character?

I'm not sure how long in-game has passed (a couple of months I'd say/) but there has been definite escalation in terms of the enemies the group has made in that time. Given that the campaign opened with them being attacked for trespassing on someone's land, there has been a worrying sequence of escalation.

    1) Some Natives
    2) Local Troublemakers in Perdition.
    3) A warring faction within the Chinese Triad
    4) A massively powerful shaman.
    5) An entire family of demon slug magicians.
    6) An entire warband of Chinese pirates - admittedly who make excellent shark food
    7) The ruling elite of the city of Lost Angels
    8) Mexico

This is EXACTLY the kind of situation in which I'd hire a new party member who has a proven capability to absorb a large number of bullets and survive.

    1. If, god forbid, we have another audio disaster of similar proportions, what I'd do nowadays is go in and just record a summary of events and cut out the inaudible portions. It's been too long now for me to remember the exact sequence of events that led to the mine shaft expedition, but it made sense at the time. ;)

One thing I really loved about running this campaign was watching that enemy list grow and grow! There's a few others yet to be added at this point, too...
