When I was doing my Pendragon homage on my own podcast, I put the Squires through a bohort too. (Spelling?) I gave them all the option for substandard weapons, and goofy armor, and fought en masse for non-lethal damage. Naturally several characters had a pot on the head, or were using rolling pins or blacksmithing tools.
ReplyDeleteMy own character was involved, and managed to take on a three on one just due to dice rolls, before she was finally thrown down, and someone dropped an elbow on her, enough to make her cough up some blood.
That was probably the best moment in that squire game.
