  1. I haven't had a chance to listen yet, but I will be paying close attention to your pronunciation of "Giovanni" :)

  2. Excellent stuff.

Especially the use of early music. The soaring choral piece that you had in the background just as you were narrating how pleasant the Embrace felt produced a rather eery effect.

And one really couldn't complain that this version of the World of Darkness wasn't dark enough...

    1. So glad you enjoyed it! The music took some of those moments to another level and I loved it, too.

  3. So, I know practically nothing about Vampire beyond what has been revealed in your sessions, but I do believe that there is a Vampire: The Dark Ages. Is that what you were playing here, or is this just typical Vampire? Is there even a difference?

Anyway, it seemed like hings went well.

    1. There is indeed a "Dark Ages" Vampire! In fact, that was my main exposure to the world and the system back in the day.

There's really not much in the way of difference, mechanically-speaking, between the two lines, but Giovanni Chronicles is technically written for Masquerade, as it takes place over several centuries and goes up to the modern day. Also, Dark Ages' nominal time period is a couple centuries earlier than Giovanni.

    2. The major difference is yes the time period and the added bonus of most likely playing a vampire with a lower generation. Meaning a more powerful vampire.
