Following on from last week’s events, the posse runs afoul of a certain one-legged Mexican general before deciding to return to the haunted mines beneath the zombie town.

So that was some fairly unexpected and pretty much unprovoked murder. Lilly's always been fairly ruthless (and still hilariously unskilled in fighting), but killing someone to steal an already stolen leg is kind of horrifying. Especially since there didn't seem to be any reason for them to have wanted the leg, as this just gives Santana another reason to send people after them.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it was pretty much a shock to the rest of us at the table, too! Renae had worked up a backstory for Lilly and this was our first glimpse of what that backstory made Lilly into. It'll get explored more over the remainder of the campaign arc, but it caused a fair amount of consternation among some of the other PCs at the time in terms of how to react to Lilly's act. It was great--I really wasn't sure if the group was going to be able to hang together long enough to finish the job.
