When King Ryons was last heard from, he had been thrown in the dungeons at Terrabil. What happened? Perhaps more details will come to light in due time...

Good point about reasons for Concord's glory to be as low as it is. Odd that it would fluctuate down, though. At the end of the day, the players are responsible for their own glory tallies. There's even a big space on the back for recording yearly awards. I'll have to take a peek at Concord's sheet next session and see if Renae has been keeping diligent track.

As for the other Treasures of Britain, well, it's early yet in the campaign (well, relatively speaking) and we could certainly see bottomless hampers making their appearance at some point...

(If the fight had been with a PC rather than an NPC, I probably would've gone with that option to begin with, but I understand why the whetstone was the MacGuffin here--it's more interesting from a PC agency standpoint.)David Larkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04133630988557116729noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5987461543629921122.post-39900738600653196782014-10-06T15:00:59.879-06:002014-10-06T15:00:59.879-06:00Not King Beardcloak! Did Sir Balin let him go to try and hunt him down again? So many questions!

That was a really well-constructed adventure, especially since the number/types of encounters meant that everyone had pretty much a scene for themselves to shine in. Plus Concord got to be the last one to make the critical rolls and earned his redemption, and now Arthur has arranged two marriages for the party this year! I also think Renae's glory count is a little low (though not too low), as two sessions ago she said she was in the six thousands. Given how Concord seemed to unfortunately miss the high glory sessions and never managed to get the crazy solo critical rolls I can believe that he's fallen behind the rest of the party in terms of glory.

Still can't get over my disappointment that the obvious treasure was the one needed to win the duel. My dreams of seeing this duel resolved through a Thor-like challenge of making the Grey Knight eat all the food in this hamper has gone unfulfilled.Jakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03987383774108570495noreply@blogger.com
